The Housing Authority of the County of Santa Barbara Commission meeting was held via teleconference connection as permitted in accordance with the requirements set out in Government Code 54953(e) and pursuant to the findings and authority set out in Housing Authority of the County of Santa Barbara Resolution No. 2974.

The Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of the County of Santa Barbara met in special session on March 7, 2022, via teleconference. Vice-Chair Doyle convened the meeting at 5:00 p.m.

Upon roll call the following Commissioners were present: Christian Alonso, Robert Doyle, Lisa Knox-Burns and Henry Mercado. James Pearson was excused.

Also present were Jackie Bordon, Executive Secretary, Robert Havlicek, Executive Director, Irene Melton, Director of Finance, John Polanskey, Director of Housing Development, Irene Vejar, Director of Human Resources, and Nancy Wesoff, Director of Contract Administration and Compliance.

NEW BUSINESS:
Resolution No. 2982 - Resolution approving and authorizing the Executive Director to execute and take all needed actions in consultation with Authority's Legal Counsel relative to entering into a Purchase Sale Agreement for the acquisition of certain real property located at 6021 Hollister Avenue, Goleta, CA. MOTION by Commissioner Alonso, seconded by Commissioner Burns to adopt Resolution No. 2982. After a lengthy discussion, all voted aye. Motion carried.

ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to come before the board, MOTION by Commissioner Mercado, seconded by Commissioner Burns to adjourn the meeting at 5:48 p.m. All Voted aye. Meeting adjourned.
