The need for housing of chronic homeless, mentally disabled, and other low income residents of Lompoc, coupled with the aquistion of a vacant parcel of land by the Housing Authority of the County of Santa Barbara, ultimately culminated in the creation of "Homebase on G".  It is a three-story development, consisting of 39 units of high quality, small studio apartments.

As a result, many formerly homeless individuals now have a beautiful, safe, and secure home with supportive and supplemental services to assist them in maintaining their independence in their new homes.
