Parkview Apartments, once a run-down and poorly managed apartment complex, was purchased and completely rehabilitated by the Housing Authority in 2007. The two-story development consists of 20 beautifully renovated one-and-two bedroom units serving low-income residents of Isla Vista.

The development is adjacent to the UCSB campus.
