This HACSB Apartment building located at 375 Ellwood Beach Drive, Goleta was purchased by the HACSB in 1997.

Sandpiper apartments is located in Goleta, close to local beaches and public transportation.

The development was purchased through a cooperative effort of the Housing Authority and the County of Santa Barbara utilizing CDBG funds along with Housing Authority's funds reserved for affordable rental housing in Santa Barbara County.

After purchasing this development the HACSB immediately began work on the comprehensive improvements targeted for the development.

To date improvements have included new stairways, fencing, paint and landscaping improvements.  As this website is being developed new energy saving windows are being installed.
