Lompoc Mural The Housing Authority of the County of Santa Barbara held a ceremony on July 18, 2002 to formally dedicate its addition to the murals of Lompoc. The 12 x 20 foot mural titled "Everyone Needs a Place to Call Home" was painted by local artists Nancy Phelps and Sue Treuhaft. It depicts the essence of "home" in our lives amidst Lompoc's colorful flowers, trees and hills. The mural is located at the Housing Authority's administrative headquarters in Lompoc on West Ocean Avenue.
