Central Plaza Apartments is located on Mill & McClelland Streets near the downtown Santa Maria area.  This development is managed by the Housing Authority of the County of Santa Barbara and owned by Central Plaza Housing Partners, LP.  Funded partially through the low-income housing tax-credit program the development serves income qualified individuals and rents in Central Plaza are restricted. 

The Housing Authority takes pride in all properties managed and/or owned by the agency and it shows.

Central Plaza residents can rest assured that management is interested in their well-being and safety, and that their unit will be well maintained during their tenancy.

The complex is made up of 112 one, two and three bedroom units and underwent extensive modernization since purchased in 2005.  Some photos of the complex prior to modernization are included below.

A Community Center added as part of the modernization and improvement, as well as a new playground area provide residents with an indoor and outdoor area for socialization.
