This HACSB Apartment building located at 120 Magnolia Avenue, Goleta was used as the lead character's Apartment building in the Searchlight film "Sideways."

Residents enjoyed watching the film-makers at work and found the project an interesting and welcome change from their everyday activities.

The complex was purchased by the HACSB in 1982 and consists of 12 one bedroom apartments.  This development provides much needed affordable rental housing near downtown Goleta close to shopping and transportation.
